Brittney Castro is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), and Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®).
Based in Los Angeles, she has extensive experience as a host, speaker, and media personality, with a focus on helping women and millennials understand and manage their finances.
She founded Financially Wise Inc., a Los Angeles-based financial planning firm with the mission of teaching individuals and couples how to manage their money in a fun and simple way. She has since sold the practice to focus on other ventures.
She is a go-to financial expert for numerous media outlets, including CNN, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times, and more.
She has worked as a brand ambassador and content creator for brands like Chase, Mint, Intuit, E*Trade, AirBnB, and Altruist to promote financial literacy.
Castro was ranked on Investopedia's Top Influential Financial Advisors list from 2017-2022.
She is a CFP® Pro spokeswoman, working with the CFP Board to educate women and minorities about careers in financial planning.
In 2021, Brittney co-hosted and produced “Chantel’s Money Moves” a show backed by Facebook to teach Gen Z’s personal finance and investing.
In 2024, Brittney joined Signal Advisors as Head of Education.
Away from the office, you can find Brittney meditating, cooking, and of course, dancing!
